We sure know how to celebrate things around here. St. Marys has it's regionally famous St. Marys Rock Shrimp festival and the St. Marys 4th of July Festival is really amazing.
Have we even mentioned the St. Marys Hay Day Celebration? The highlight is a stroll down Osborne Street (St. Marys' main street through the Historic District) to view hundreds of clever and creative Scarecrows on display.

And then there's Kingsland! Kingsland is just a short drive from downtown St. Marys and offers a completely different lifestyle. Kingsland is bisected by Interstate 95 and much of the newer commercial and residential development has settled in Kingsland. If you're flying in to Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), you'll be in Kingsland in about 30 minutes.
Kingsland offers lots of wonderful neighborhoods, providing a great selection of styles and price ranges for you to choose from.
Kingsland has another claim to fame . . . the fabulous and well-known Camden County High School (CCHS) is located there (Go Wildcats!). Also the college of Coastal Georgia (part of the University of Georgia system) has its Camden Campus in Kingsland.
Kingsland, also known as the city of Royal Treatment, has elected officials who have been very pro-active in attracting new business and residential neighborhoods and seem to be ever-expanding the Kingsland city limits.
Kingsland, Ga is home to the famous Kingsland Catfish Festival. The Catfish Festival several for serveral days over Labor Day Weekend and draws thousands of visitors to downtown Kingsland for country music, great food and lots of fun!

Golf in Camden County, GA
Did we mention Golf? Both St. Marys and Kingsland (as well as the Kings Bay Naval Sub Base) offer first-class facilities for you golf enthusiasts out there.
In Saint Marys, GA, the Osprey Cove Golf Course reigns supreme with the popular Mark McCumber Championship Golf Course. The course lays nestled within the Osprey Cove Gated Community with many fine homes for sale as well. Not to mention, Osprey Cove was named one of the "100 Best Master-Planned Communities" by Where To Retire Magazine in 2007.
In Kingsland, GA, the place to be for golfers is the Laurel Island Links Country Club which is also nestled among many fine homes and neighborhoods.

Both St. Marys and Kingsland offer plenty of great options from Chinese, Mexican, Italian and everything in between.
We have plenty of places from which to choose local fare like: St. Marys Steak and Seafood, while in Kingsland, there is the locally-famous Steffen's: Steffens, which is the longest surviving locally-owned restaurant in Camden County. Now there's some good food!
If you prefer more commercialized eating, there's Applebees, Ruby Tuesday and plenty of other choices.

Woodbine, GA
And let's not forget our friends and neighbors up in Woodbine. Just a nice little drive from St. Marys or Kingsland. This quaint community is filled with history and lies along the Satilla River, Camden County's northern border with Brunswick.
Don't be fooled by its size. Woodbine is the heart of Camden County when it comes to official business. The beautiful new Courthouse is located in Woodbine, as well as property tax, car tags, magistrate and probate court business.
Basically, if you have official business, you'll be headed to Woodbine. Even if you choose to reside in St. Marys or Kingsland, you can count on making an occasional trip to the beautiful city.
Oh, and while you're there, don't forget to visit the beautiful riverwalk along the Satilla River! That's also where the famous Annual Woodbine Crawfish Festival takes place (Told you we knew how to celebrate around here!). And while your there, say hello to the VERY active Woodbine Women's Club (one of our top agents is a member).
