Woodbine, GA was once part of a large plantation known as Woodbine Plantation. In 1893, the owner deeded land for the town and in 1908, the name Woodbine was adopted.
Located along the beautiful Satilla River, the natural beauty can be enjoyed by everyone as they explore the area along the riverwalk. There is also a waterfront park with a boat ramp.
Woodbine is the county seat for Camden County, and there is an incredible new courthouse complex built in the heart of Woodbine.
Woodbine is also home to the famous annual Crawfish Festival.
There's a historic district as well as many beautiful neighborhoods.

Woodbine, GA
Woodbine is just a nice little drive from St. Marys or Kingsland. This quaint community is filled with history and lies along the Little Satilla River, Camden County's northern border with Brunswick.
Don't be fooled by its size. Woodbine is the heart of Camden County when it comes to official business. The beautiful new Courthouse is located in Woodbine, as well as property tax, car tags, magistrate and probate court business.
Basically, if you have official business, you'll be headed to Woodbine. Even if you choose to reside in St. Marys or Kingsland, you can count on making an occasional trip to the beautiful city.
Oh, and while you're there, don't forget to visit the beautiful riverwalk along the Satilla River! That's also where the famous Annual Woodbine Crawfish Festival takes place (Told you we knew how to celebrate around here!).
